Book Club

Book Club

Book Club at SHF has the objective of providing a setting for parishioners and others (all are welcome!) to gather and share. We meet approximately every six weeks to discuss a book selected to read as well as just to get together for fellowship and chat.

Books selected to read range from drama to light reads, biographies to fiction, …. We try to pick books that are easily obtainable via purchase or from the library.

Some Book Club member favorites that we’ve read include: A Gentleman in Moscow, All the Light We Cannot See, News of the World, Where the Crawdads Sing, …

Reading the book also is NOT mandatory for attending! Just come and listen, if you want! In very informal fashion, we share our likes and dislikes about the read and each give our ‘thumbs up’ or ‘thumbs down’ to the book.
